Privacy policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy is for the Doodle Tower game (the app) for Android and iOS, made by an independent developer (“I”, “me”).
The short version
Doodle Tower doesn’t collect, store or share any personal information. There are no ads, no analytics, no accounts and no tracking. Nothing you do in the game is sent anywhere.
What the app keeps — on your phone only
So the game can remember things between plays, it saves a few small items on your device:
- your high scores (one for each difficulty);
- your settings (such as view size, difficulty, sound, music and vibration);
- whether you’ve opened the tutorial;
- the date the game was first opened on the device.
None of this is sent to me or to anyone else. It stays on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data (you can also reset the high score in the game’s Settings).
Permissions
The only part of your phone the game uses is the vibration (for little buzzes in the game, which you can turn off in Settings). It doesn’t use your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files. Like most apps it has the standard internet permission, but the game doesn’t send anything anywhere, and it doesn’t need an internet connection to play.
The app stores
When you download the app from Google Play or the App Store, Google or Apple may collect information under their own privacy policies (for example, to handle the download or to send anonymous crash reports to developers if you’ve agreed to that on your device). I don’t receive any personal information from them.
Children
The app doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If the app ever changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, if ads are added in a future version), this policy will be updated first, and the date above changed.
